Slayer is an aggressive melee option with the roster's highest listed base critical-damage multiplier. Its skills reward close-range pressure, area hits, bleeding, and life recovery.
The role asks more from gear and sustain than a ranged DLC choice. Verify that melee survival is already solved before treating Slayer as the answer to a progression wall.
