Start With Account-Wide Progression
The Rune Tree is an account-wide passive system, not a set of per-hero sockets. Its Formation branch unlocks the second and third hero slots and an additional active skill slot, making it the highest-impact starting branch for almost every save.
A conservative order is:
- Formation and hero slots.
- Wealth and Growth for gold and experience.
- Storage and chest quality-of-life upgrades.
- Repose if offline progress matters to your schedule.
- Combat branches once the account economy is stable.
The combat branch contains Might, Resilience, Haste, and Frenzy. Treat the hero plans below as guidance for choosing among those shared bonuses, not as per-hero rune loadouts.
Knight - Frontline Stability
Knight has the roster's highest listed base HP and armor. The sword-and-shield equipment path, Shield Charge, and Unyielding Will all support a frontline role.
Build direction: Armor and HP first, then damage or movement after the team can survive the stage.
Relevant combat branch: Resilience is the natural first choice. Might becomes useful when Knight is already holding the line comfortably.
Team fit: Knight + Priest + Sorcerer is the safest general-purpose shell. Priest extends frontline uptime while Sorcerer clears grouped enemies.
Priest - Sustain and Recovery
Priest is the dedicated healer and buffer. Heal, Sanctuary, and Resurrection reward staying active long enough to recover the rest of the party.
